Stockholm noise pop/alt-rock project shares new video for lead single from debut EP, released earlier this year on Fuzz Club…

Earlier this year we released the debut recordings from Medistation, a new venture from Eric Strand of Stockholm’s finest neo-psychedelic crooners The Orange Revival. Arriving out of nowhere with a self titled five-track EP Medistation instantly made its mark on the burgeoning Scandi psych scene with it’s fuzzed out, razor-sharp alt-rock that imagines the scuzzy lovechild of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Spiritualized and The Stooges.

Having spent the last couple of months rebuilding his studio in Stockholm and getting a live-band together, Eric is back to remind us just how great this EP really was with a new video for ‘Pool Of Blood’ – a snarling dose of thick visceral guitars, psych synths and commanding vocals, made even more so with the help of Jake Garcia (The Black Angels). Eric’s other project The Orange Revival have established themselves as key players in the European psychedelic movement, and with a full band in the works in preparation for a string of live shows, Medistation looks to be heading in that direction too. This debut EP was a reverberating, melodic and inspired statement that demands your attention from the off and keeps you immersed until the very end.
