When Bergen based Norwegian outfit Lovecult folded shortly after having released their debut album, main songwriter and visionary Eirik Asker Pettersen decided to continue the project solo as Closing Eyes.

Having previously supported among others The Dandy Warhols, The Telescopes, The Raveonettes, Serena Maneesh, and 120 Days, as well as collaborating with Aadne Meisfjord and Emil Nikolaisen on severeal releases under different monikers, Closing Eyes live band will feature an extended family of characters, melodic dreamers, drone- and noise fiends.
