Farida - Last Waltz

FARIDA is a hard-hitting outfit generating spiritual noise, primal psychedelia and rhythmic monotones wrapped up in the emotional power of Jenny Faridas dark vocal expression.

Drony synths, doomy and monotonous bass, jagged guitars, hypnotic and explosive drums drive FARIDA down a twilight path between the suggestive and the primitive.

“Last Waltz” is a haunting and violent break-up tale of equal intensity as last year’s “Shoot”. From the soft whispers of the beginning to the pounding thrust of its end, “Last Waltz” evokes feelings that will echo within in you long after the song is over. Last Waltz will be out on Spotify May 24.

SHOOT
“Shoot” is a spell-binding, grinding electric discharge of raw energy and sexual frustration. Both tracks are available on 12” vinyl due for release on the 24th May and were recorded at studio Apmamman by Gustav Lindelöw and at Jenny Farida’s own studio. Produced by Jenny Farida, mixed by Simon Nordberg and mastered by Sarah Register.
