Austin/Glasgow duo SKLOSS announce their debut album 'The Pattern Speaks' and share video for title track

We're stoked to welcome Austin via Glasgow 'spacegaze' duo Skloss to Fuzz Club. Blending heavy psychedelia, post-metal drones, meditative drums and raw distorted riffs, their debut album ‘The Pattern Speaks’ arrives March 7 2025 and the lead single and title track is out now!

SKLOSS first formed in Austin, TX as a husband-and-wife duo between American drummer/vocalist Karen Skloss and Scottish guitarist/vocalist Sandy Carson during the COVID lockdown. Surrounded by drums and amps and the need to play loud, the sonic sound of SKLOSS became a response to the crazy world just outside their window. Jams became songs, while the noise level, experimentation and distortion went up to a volume much louder than you’d expect from a duo.

“Living next to the woods has something to do with it. We started to use music as an outlet, like most everyone during that time, we were so cooped up,” says Skloss: "The Pattern Speaks is a message in a bottle, a cosmic plea for assistance from the stars, space aliens, or non-human intelligence. It also hints at a way out of our self-made cycles of drudgery and inhumanity.”
