Tess Parks shares video 'Running Home To Sing', the final single to be lifted from third solo album 'Pomegranate' out now.
Tess Parks recently released her critically acclaimed third solo album, ‘Pomegranate’ and is today sharing a video for 'Running Home To Sing'. You can pick up a copy of 'Pomegranate' on colour vinyl and CD here
On 'Running Home To Sing', Parks said "I guess subconsciously, through working with Joe Bressler on this video and his interpretation of the lyrics, this song is about anything you feel an unhealthy attachment to, and having the courage to change the things that you can and finding the inner strength to set yourself free. There is such a happier life waiting for you. The things that are right for you will remain, but the right people and the right circumstances will always reveal themselves once you make the space. I promise you. Thank you for all the love for this album so far - it means a lot a lot.”
Longing. Heartbreak. Levity. Joy. Being filled with love for all things. All of these sensations flow at once through 'Pomegranate'. Re-establishing Parks as the consummate artist-observer against a swirling nouveau-delic backdrop, her third solo album arrived on October 25th 2024 and was produced by multi-instrumentalist and close collaborator Ruari Meehan, who shared mixing duties with Grammy-nominated engineer Mikko Gordon (The Smile, Gaz Coombes, Arcade Fire).
