EU ORDERS ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. EXPECTED TO START SHIPPING AGAIN EARLY/MID SEPTEMBER.
As many of you will have seen, the EU has implemented new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) which, in a nutshell, is going to make selling into the EU impossible for a lot of independent artists, labels and online businesses.
The idea of holding companies responsible for the waste they create is obviously a good thing. The problem is the way they have decided to do it.Under the new system, companies are expected to register and, in many cases, hire and appoint a local Authorised Representative to act as a legal proxy in every EU country they sell to. Setting up the necessary compliance system EU-wide is expected to cost upwards of €16000 annually just in registrations and related fees.
At the moment we are holding EU orders for a couple of weeks while we see how this plays out. The whole thing seems so crazy that it's hard to believe this is actually how it will work in practice. The EU is our biggest market though, so simply stopping selling there isn't really an option for us. If complying with all of this and taking on the cost is the only way forward, then that's what we'll do.
.
We'll have more updates for you soon, if you're in the EU and currently waiting on an order we appreciate your patience!
Shipping to Europe
On orders below €150 in net value*, Fuzz Club ships to Europe using IOSS / DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) services, meaning all import VAT and duties (including the new EU Low Value Duty introduced in July 2026) are pre-paid at the point of purchase and then charged to Fuzz Club by the courier, not the customer on delivery. This means that there will be nothing extra for you to pay on delivery and also eliminates the risk of potential customs hold-ups or delays.
On orders above €150 in value in value, we are currently unable to ship using a IOSS / DDP service any import VAT and duties due will be charged to the customer on delivery.
*Please note that this €150 limit is the value of your order excluding VAT and shipping. For UK/EU customers the prices you will first see in the store are all including VAT but if the total value of your items in your cart exceeds the €150 net limit then the VAT is removed from the prices at check-out and charged to you on delivery. As an example, if you are based in Germany which has an EU VAT rate of 19%, you can in effect order up to €178 including VAT in the store as this nets at €149.58 excluding said VAT.
Music media such as vinyl records and CDs are exempt from any UK>US tariffs/duties as they are deemed 'Informational Material' by US law. We also ship using DDP (Delivery Duties Paid) services to the US meaning in the event that duties/tariffs are incorrectly charged, Fuzz Club will be the one billed (and responsible for disputing) not the customer, who should still receive their items without issue or hold-up.
