The new album from London post-punks Crows, 'Reason Enough' is out Sep 27 on the Bad Vibrations x Fuzz Club imprint. Their third studio album and the eagerly-awaited follow-up to 2022's 'Beware Believers', you can check out lead single 'Bored' now and pre-order the album here
On today's album news, frontman James Cox says: "Like so many musicians today, being off album cycle means no touring, which in turn means looking for more day-to-day work options to make ends meet. We wrote ‘Reason Enough’ in a period like this when we were all simultaneously working day jobs to pay the bills. And when we’re not touring, I become way more aware of, and susceptible to, the news cycle. Being bombarded by constant doom and gloom can create a real despondent maelstrom. With what seemed like no hope for respite, or any change to my routine whatsoever, the song ‘Bored’ came out of that cycle of waking up and not being able to shake the feeling of wanting to bang your forehead against a brick wall."
'Reason Enough' takes Crows' adrenaline-fuelled post-punk sound into fresh territory – “rather than being all-out punk”, the band said, "It feels less lo-fi, cleaner and more well-rounded. This is Crows in high definition." Pick it up on a special Dinked Edition LP (limited to 500 hand-numbers copies with a signed print and poster), deluxe red LP, clear LP, a Levitation exclusive splatter LP, hand-stamped white labels (limited to 100!), cassette and CD
Alongside the news they're also announcing Oct/Nov UK/EU tour dates in support of the record, on sale this Friday at 10am and including a stop at Village Underground on Oct 15th. They'll also be playing a super intimate 'Bored' single release show at Third Man London this Thursday, on sale now!
