"Tommy is one of the most talented and prolific people we know. He’s always looking for a unique way to create, for instance, his latest release is made entirely from bat sounds. A few years back he made a record from found sounds which included a (quite melancholic!) jagged melody composed by Karen's late black cat and excerpts from a video art piece she made many years ago featuring her daughter as a baby, live crickets, and 2 tons of concrete. He brought us to tears with this remix, as it’s so beautiful and the song is so personal to us." - SKLOSS

One of my favourite things to play with is sound. I love how contemporary technology enables me to stretch and sculpt sound as though it were Play-Doh. This is what I’ve done with Skloss’s brilliant song. I’ve taken Karen’s hauntingly beautiful vocals and propulsive drumming and Sandy’s energetic guitar lines and I’ve stretched, sculpted, chopped, embellished and rearranged them into a new form.
