SKLOSS release new album 'Dialects' out now
@sklossduo release their new album ‘Dialects’ today via Fuzz Club A full remix of their debut LP ‘The Pattern Speaks’. Buy now on limited white cassette or as a discounted cassette/t-shirt bundle in the Fuzz Club Stores.
‘Dialects’ brings together remixes by Tommy Perman, JAPE, David Jack, Rev Magnetic, Unknown Capability Recordings, Dub Sevā, Black Hill Transmissions and Soundcult, reworking all eight tracks from ‘The Pattern Speaks’ into new forms.
The duo of Sandy Carson and Karen Skloss say of the new ‘Dialects’ project: “The Pattern Speaks is remixed, reworked, and cosmically reimagined by an ecosystem of old pals and big tinkerers from Scotland to Texas and Sweden to California. This collaboration of turning our debut album on its head has been brewing in the cauldron for some time and we’re so proud to share. The Patterns Speak, the shapes shift, the tones bend, stripped down to form dialects and conversations in ways we could never have imagined. It’s as if the Pattern Speaks was a blazing captive wild animal, tamed and returned to its natural state, rewilded by these magical and surprising meditative interpretations from Tommy Perman, JAPE, David Jack, Rev Magnetic, Unknown Capability Recordings, Dub Sevā, Black Hill Transmissions and Soundcult.”
