Flying Moon In Space announce new album 'immer für immer' coming 27th February and share video for lead single 'we come in peace'
Leipzig, Germany-based six-piece Flying Moon In Space are today announcing their third album ‘immer für immer’, due for release February 27th 2026. Pre-order the LP here
Occupying a world where high-energy motorik rhythms, experimental instincts and pop sensibility intertwine, this new full-length burrows deeper into their live-improvised blend of krautrock, post-punk, shoegaze and experimental electronics.
Alongside the album news, Flying Moon In Space are sharing the lead single ‘we come in peace’, out everywhere now with an accompanying video. On the track, guitarist Henrik Rohde says:
“‘we come in peace’ deals with social exclusion and humanity's paradoxical relationship with its environment and the absurd notion that intelligent life exists only on earth. Alongside a deep, subconscious curiosity and thirst for knowledge, there is always a fear of the unknown. A seemingly intelligent life form treats strangers like they don´t belong here and knowingly destroys the world on which it exists. ‘we come in peace’ – like the pop-culture sci-fi slogan from the 80s—can be an attitude of encountering strangers differently and understanding things from other perspectives. The song is a way of transforming strangeness into connection. Aren't we all aliens? we come in peace.”
