German trio Kombynat Robotron sign to Fuzz Club and announce new album 'AANK'

Following a floor-shaking performance at the festival earlier this month, we're stoked to welcome Kombynat Robotron to Fuzz Club with their new album ‘AANK’. Their seventh studio LP in as many years arrives July 25th and the first single ‘Sauerstoff’ is streaming everywhere now!

With driving rhythms, repetitive riffs and spherical soundscapes, Kombynat Robotron create a hypnotic sound that blurs the boundaries between krautrock, psychedelic and noise rock. On ‘AANK’, the Kiel-based trio work with vocals and song structures for the first time, moving away from their musical beginnings as an instrumental jam band. The flowing psychedelic soundscapes of the band’s previous records give way to the asphalt of the Autobahn, in a blaze of feedback-blasted kraut-punk that races, noises and rages across eight tracks. On the new single, guitarist/vocalist Jannes Ihnen says: “Sauerstoff is about being forced to let go. ‘Das ist nur Sauerstoff means ‘That is just oxygen’ and were the last words I heard before getting a general anasthesia.”

On the incoming album signing news, they add: "Fuzz Club messaged us after our show in London in July 2024, only a month before we started recordings for AANK and it was hard to keep our mouths shut about the signing for so long.
