Breanna Barbara shares video for 'Nothin' But Time'
NYC’s Breanna Barbara is releasing a new video for ‘Nothin’ But Time’, the title-track from her newly album released last month on Fuzz Club. Barbara’s second full-length is a raw and immersive trip through the sounds of psychedelic rock and blues, anchored by her powerful vocals and unforgettable songwriting. On the ‘Nothin’ But Time’ single and its accompanying video, Barbara says: “Nothin' But Time started off as a love song and ended as an anthem. It's a track about holding your loved ones tight in the most dizzying of times and surrendering to life's most mysterious currency; sweet, sweet time. The video was directed and shot by Laura-Lynn Petrick and is a love letter to New York City as well as a slight homage to Wings of Desire by Wim Wenders, one of my favorite films. New York has been my home and muse for over 10 years now so it only felt right to film the last video to the title track with the city in mind. The people are like trees here, each one of them etched in with memories and stories, I find great inspiration and spirit walking among them.”
On the video, director Laura-Lynn Petrick adds: “Breanna is on another dimensional plane, observing the city as the mundane and magic unfolds before her, feeling clusters of feelings. She gives in to the city's temptations and allows New York to enamour her.”
