DAIISTAR share new single 'Repeater' from incoming debut album 'Good Time'
Austin, TX noise-pop/alt-indie band DAIISTAR have shared new single ‘Repeater’, the third to be lifted from their debut album ‘Good Time’ out September 8th. The Fuzz Club Exclusive/Membership version comes on 180g black-in-clear vinyl with orange splatter, limited to 350 hand-numbered copies. Pre-order here
The new cut arrives off the back of recent singles ‘Star Starter’ and 'Tracemaker', plus a newly-announced US tour with The Black Angels and The Dandy Warhols and two Texas album release shows with Night Beats.
On the new single, DAIISTAR’s Alex Capistran (guitar/vocals) writes: "Repeater is a voyage through the darker side of the human consciousness. It’s common for people to mask what’s on the inside and in this track we travel beyond the exterior. The lyrics are minimal with the intent of focusing on the music itself and how it intensifies as the song progresses. On this track we journey inward only to find ourselves spiralling out in the end."
