Introducing Bad Vibrations Records, a new Fuzz Club imprint
We’re super excited to announce that we’re teaming up with the best promoters in the capital and our good mates Bad Vibrations on their new label, which is going to be the first Fuzz Club imprint! To announce the launch of Bad Vibrations Records, Bad Vibes have also announced the first artists to sign to the label in the shape of Crows and Unschooling.
Bad Vibes are behind this year’s new Wide Awake and South Facing festivals in London and have brought the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Amyl & The Sniffers, Warmduscher, Black Country New Road, Dry Cleaning, Fat White Family and Shame and more through the ranks of London’s most-loved venues. Having already harnessed an invaluable presence in the live scene, the Bad Vibes label will be another means of championing the established and up-and-coming bands that have long been coming through their doors – and we’re stoked to be teaming up with them to do so!
Crows are one of the first artists to sign to Bad Vibrations Records and have recently wrapped up on their second studio album, which is set for release early next year and will follow their 2019 debut, ‘Silver Tongues’. Notorious for their riotous and high-octane live shows, the London-based post-punk/noise-rock four piece have set off on sold-out tours around the UK and Europe, shared stages with the likes of Idles, Wolf Alice, Metz, Girl Band, Protomartyr and Slaves and been highly praised by NME, DIY, Best Fit, Loud & Quiet, Mojo, Q, BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, Kerrang and a tonne more.
On the signing, Crows frontman James Cox said: ”We couldn’t be happier to finally be able to announce we’ve signed to Bad Vibrations Records! We’re excited to be able to build a team around us of close friends we know, trust and love. Bad Vibrations have been there since the very beginning of Crows and championed us from our first ever gigs, so it’s even more special for us to come back with them supporting us!”
Also signing to Bad Vibrations Records is Unschooling, a post-punk/indie-rock band from Rouen, France. Made up of former members of MNNQNS, Unschooling have just completed a run of European tour-dates which included their first UK gigs and a Great Escape First Fifty show. The band will return to the UK in December (finishing the tour with the Bad Vibrations Christmas Party at Shacklewell Arms on Dec 16th) and are also booked for The Great Escape and Eurosonic in 2022. Their debut album ‘Defensive Designs’ was released in 2019 and this year they released the ‘Random Acts of Total Control’ EP.
