Acid Rooster’s 2025 appearance at the Effenaar in Eindhoven, the Netherlands captured the band at their most intense, spontaneous and immersive. Closing out the festival late on Saturday night, they delivered a towering set that stretched familiar material into sprawling improvisations, hypnotic grooves and crushing walls of fuzz. The intensity of the moment – with both band and audience fully immersed in the final (early) hours of the fest – makes this album a powerful document of Acid Rooster’s ever-evolving live show.

Rather than simply recreating their studio recordings, the carefully curated setlist draws from across the band’s catalogue, reimagining tracks through extended jams, spontaneous detours and the instinctive interplay between the trio of Sebastian Väth (guitar), Maximilian Leicht (bass/synth) and Steffen Schmidt (drums). Psychedelic rock, krautrock motorik and heavy riff-driven passages collide in instrumental performances that feel both expansive and unpredictable.
