Floral Image drop new single and video ‘On A Feeling’. Arriving ahead of UK tour dates kicking off later this month with Minami Deutsch, it’s the second taste of the Norwich UK band’s incoming ‘Deeper Down Meadowland’ EP! Stream it and watch the video here

Recorded during the same sessions that birthed this year’s debut album ‘Gone Down Meadowland’, ‘On A Feeling’ douses Eastern-inspired melodies over its rapturous psych-pop rhythm. Alongside last month’s ‘Thieves’ single, it’s one of three unheard B-sides being released on the ‘Deeper Down Meadowland’ EP (out digitally Nov 21st), which also features live versions of the album singles and fan-favourites.

On ‘On A Feeling’, Floral Image’s Jack Warner (vocals/keys) says: “Crisis? What crisis? Here we are, blissfully cruising, head-first, into our climate emergency without a care. Swim suits on, helmets shut; let’s take a deep dive into our privatised individualism. Or at least that’s what they want you to think. It’s time to listen to our true leader, Mother Nature, not the touchy-feely, snappy, grabby money crabs. This song is an invitation to turn off your phones, get out into nature - breathe - and reconnect to the only home we will ever know, the Pale Blue Dot. Go find a whale and give it some love…they’re waiting for you on the rainbow road.”
