Floral Image share new Los Bitchos remix of 'Meadowland' the second cut from their incoming 'Meadowland Remixed' LP out April 13th

Following a recent run of UK/EU shows supporting Kula Shaker and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Norwich, UK psych-pop group Floral Image are today releasing a Los Bitchos remix of ‘Meadowland’, the opening track from last year’s debut album ‘Gone Down Meadowland’. 

Following Minami Deutsch’s recent rework of ‘The Dream’, this latest cut is the second preview of Floral Image’s incoming ‘Meadowland Remixed’ album, which finds their 2025 debut ‘Gone Down Meadowland’ reworked by the likes of Minami Deutsch, Los Bitchos, Vinyl Williams, Black Market Karma, Upupayama and more. The full digital album arrives April 13th via Fuzz Club, with more Floral Image shows and festival appearances to come in Germany, France, Italy and the UK in the months ahead. Pre-order here

On the Los Bitchos ‘Meadowland’ remix, Floral Image’s Mitch Forsyth says: “Where Meadowland serves as the sunrise of our debut, Los Bitchos’ reimagining of it is a hot, dry, sweating sunset. There’s mirage to it, a bit of breeze and musky incense, and it unwinds the fabric wrap of our licks and mummifies them. It’s spooky! It’s ominous! It’s got a hypnotism to it. I think it serves as the perfect tone-setter to the record; unbind your expectations and allow the table to be upturned."

Los Bitchos’ Serra Petale adds: “Remixing Meadowland was a no brainer for me. Apart from it being instrumental, I really loved the production and the atmosphere that it set for the rest of the record. I thought it would be cool to contrast the tracks’ bright disposition with a darker Turkish inspired re-imagining in a minor key. I love how the vocals sound so haunting and mysterious, they make me feel as if they could be played in the background while you walk through the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.”
