Across these eight equally pulverising and ethereal tracks, the result is a powerful, atmospheric wall of ‘spacegaze’ that indulges SKLOSS’ heaviest and gentlest sonic impulses all at once. Following the recent single and title-track ‘The Pattern Speaks’, SKLOSS say of new cut ‘Imagine 100 Dads’: “IMAGINE 100 DADS is a cathartic shifting of darkness into light. We finished writing it just as we helped Karen’s dad cross over, so it has a personal edge, but the journey can be applied to anything”

A self-released debut EP 'Voices Travel Through This' was released in 2022 and after sharing the stage with acts like Divide & Dissolve, Messa, The Well, Glorium, and Oryx, SKLOSS performed a set at the 2022 Levitation Festival. An immersive audio/visual meditative performance and collaboration ’Aether’ with renowned artist Thomas Hooper (whose artwork adorns ‘The Pattern Speaks’) took place in a concrete culvert at Colab Projects in February 2024 ahead of several shows during SXSW. The same cosmic performance was taken to the Iconic Echo Bridge in San Antonio, TX and most recently the James Turrell Skyspace at UT Austin.
