The Oscillation share new single 'La Alusión' from incoming album 'Interference' out Oct 30th
The Oscillation share new single ‘La Alusión’ featuring Lorelle Meets The Obsolete. It's the latest track to be lifted from the incoming ‘Interference’ – Demian Castellanos’ eleventh studio album, out October 30th 2026 via Fuzz Club. Stream the new track now and pre-order on limited LP and CD in the Fuzz Club Stores.
Arriving following recent lead single ‘Bring It On’, ‘La Alusión’ sees The Oscillation joined by Lorena Quintanilla of Lorelle Meets The Obsolete and J.Zunz, whose contribution became a defining moment in the making of the record. Her haunting vocal on ‘La Alusion’ (which she also wrote the lyrics and melody for) became the breakthrough moment that crystallised the album, turning an instrumental sketch into a dreamlike centrepiece. Castellanos says:
“La Alusión was a track I'd been working on for over a year and had an instrumental version that I was very happy with – somewhere in between Iggy Pop's ‘The Idiot’ and Death In Vegas. I knew it needed vocals to transform it, but I couldn't get an idea down myself that added anything. I decided to reach out to Lorena, as I had recently been checking out her J.Zunz solo albums which have a unique soul-searching quality I can relate to (I didn't actually realize at the time she was also doing Lorelle Meets The Obsolete). The first idea she sent back was perfect and immediately felt like the final piece of the puzzle I'd been unable to find before... adding some mystery and beauty to the track and the album.”
Quintanilla adds: “Collaborating with Demian on this song was such an enjoyable and interesting experience. I was really excited to work with him and came into the process with a lot of curiosity, wanting to take in as much as I could. The song itself felt like such a natural source of inspiration that the vocal melody and words almost seemed to reveal themselves. Demian created a nice dynamic where I had complete freedom to explore without ever feeling lost along the way.”
