Out Now: Electric Eye - Dyp Tid

Norwegian band Electric Eye's fifth album 'Dyp Tid' and live session is out now

Norwegian band Electric Eye are today releasing their fifth album ‘Dyp Tid’. Their most ambitious and experimental work to date, winding through ambient minimalism, kosmische improvisation and experimental psych-jazz. You can stream and purchase the album on limited colour vinyl here

The band are also sharing the 'Pendelen Svinger' from their recently recorded live session at Bergen's Duper Studio, which is available to watch now! As the band write, ‘Dyp Tid’ (Norwegian for ‘Deep Time’) is both a meditative journey and an exploration of what it means to exist in a universe where time stretches far beyond humanity’s grasp, fusing natural organic sounds and synthetic electronic music: “We have always been drawn to the cinematic, to the sense that something feels larger than life, and in Dyp Tid we wove these elements together into something both deeply personal and utterly elusive. In an age where everything seems algorithmic and predictable, we aimed to create something that refused to be boxed in – something that lives and breathes by its own rules.”
