The Jesus And Mary Chain are dropping a new video for 'Silver Strings' today, lifted from their critically acclaimed new album 'Glasgow Eyes' out now on Fuzz Club. With copies flying out, there is also a new pressing on clear blue vinyl available to pre-order here

Now backed with an accompanying video directed by Ambar Navarro and featuring Izzy Glaudini of LA band Automatic, 'Silver Strings' was described by Pitchfork as “a lithe slice of nocturnal new wave that illustrates the benefits of favouring synths over six strings: It floats, unencumbered by earthly notions.” Meanwhile, MOJO wrote that it “cast JAMC as the house band at a David Lynch sad disco – a role they were born into.”

The clear blue repress is out June 7th in the UK/EU and June 28th in North America and Australia/NZ.
