Record Store Day TOMORROW!
Who's ready for Record Store Day tomorrow?! We have three very limited releases from The Men, The Telescopes and The Black Delta Movement available in participating stores here
The Men - Manhattan Fire
Thirteen demos that would go on to become last year’s ‘New York City’ LP. Recorded in mono and with a drum machine over lockdown – before being shelved for the full-band and live-to-tape studio album – it shows an even more primitive side to the songs Pitchfork described as “summoning the snottiest ghosts of the city’s punk past”, with some previously unheard tracks to boot – including 'I See The Light' which was released digitally yesterday. Limited to 500 numbered copies on 180g clear 12” vinyl, also available in US stores April 26th.
The Telescopes - Growing Eyes Becoming String Remixes
Hot off the back of the release of the lost Telescopes record ‘Growing Eyes Becoming String’, this 7” serves up two killer remixes by A Place To Bury Strangers and Throw Down Bones – two bands undoubtedly influenced by the Telescopes’ decades’ long experiments with noise and drone. Limited to 500 numbered copies on white 7” vinyl.
The Black Delta Movement - In Acetate
Released digitally last year to a mass of requests for wax, Hull psych-rock band TBDM’s ‘In Acetate’ EP will now be available on vinyl as part of RSD. The five-track EP features three bonus tracks from the ‘Recovery Effects’ recording sessions and two remixes by trip-hop legend UNKLE and Bo Ningen side project Ill Japonia on the flip side. Limited to 500 numbered copies on 180g splatter 12” vinyl.
They also play an in-store at Rough Trade East in London tomorrow, as part of the RSD celebrations!
