Regressive Left sign to Bad Vibrations Records
With new music coming next week, we're mega excited to announce that Regressive Left are the latest addition to the Bad Vibrations label roster! Taking influence from the booming post-punk, funk and disco scenes of NYC, the trio's sound sees witty political dissatisfaction set to huge, infectious dance-punk.
Hailing from the ex-industrial town of Luton and now based in London, Simon Tyrie (vocals, electronics), Georgia Hardy (drums, backing vocals) and Will Crosby (guitars, backing vocals) make up Regressive Left. Having spent their teenage years playing in unsuccessful indie bands, sometimes together, the trio used their first-lockdown boom of creativity to try their hands at something new.
November 2020 saw the release of their wobbly electro-punk debut single ‘Eternal Returns’, which was swiftly tailed by acclaimed follow-ups ‘Take the Hit’ and ‘Cream Militia’, tours with the likes of Bodega and Folly Group, festival appearances at End of the Road, Latitude and Wide Awake, and a sold out headline at The Windmill. Next week they'll also be playing the Bad Vibes Records The Great Escape Festival showcase with Crows, Unschooling and PVA (Sat May 14 @ Revenge)
