Arriving off the back of recent singles ‘JAMCOD’ and ‘Chemical Animal’, new single ‘Girl 71’ comes from the more melodic, hook-laden power-pop end of the Mary Chain spectrum – Jim Reid's distinct drawling vocal contrasted with the sweet backing harmonies of Rachel Conte.

Now just a month out, 'Glasgow Eyes' marks the 40th anniversary of the Mary Chain and will see them ring in the landmark year with their first studio album in seven years, the beginning of a world-tour kicking off on the day of release, and a new autobiography set to be published by White Rabbit.
