Pre Order: The Flaming Lips - The Teardrop Throbs

Standard and Indie-only opaque blue LP  now available. Release date is January 22nd

---------------

Few bands have the legacy, continued insistence on innovative impact, cultural mainstay potency, and staying power that The Flaming Lips have accrued over more than 40 years as a group. Six years after American Head, the psychedelic rock band returns with The Teardrop Throbs.

The album pairs lush arrangements with the production and songwriting the band has distilled over time. Wayne Coyne moves from the direct and poignant “Every Teardrop Cried” to the more melancholy “The Trees Are Getting Their Leaves,” across a record that Third Man Records is releasing on LP, CD, and digital platforms.
