Fontaines D.C. announce their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, released via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, it follows 2024's Romance and finds the band moving into a colder, stranger and more synthetic sound.

Dopamine Chamber pairs potent balladry and anthemic melodies with cold synthesiser tones, marching drums, samples, triggers and the swooning strings of 1960s Italian pop. Across the album, Grian Chatten, Carlos O'Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan and Tom Coll move between gratification and dread, reflecting on artificial intelligence, environmental collapse, political violence and the endless refresh of a screen.

The album was made with James Ford between London, the English countryside and Palermo. It arrives alongside the single "Marianne" and its video directed by Dave Meyers.
