Cult of Dom Keller share new single 'Infernal Heads'

Cult of Dom Keller release third and final single from incoming 'They Carried The Dead In A UFO

British psych-rock heavyweights Cult of Dom Keller are today releasing ‘Infernal Heads’, the latest track to be lifted from their forthcoming ‘They Carried The Dead In A U.F.O’ LP that’s due out May 21st on Fuzz Club. Since 2007 the band have been leaving a trail of sonic fever dreams, dark psychedelia and experimentalism that beats with a heavy industrial heart. A constantly evolving force, Cult of Dom Keller’s incoming fifth album is the band’s heaviest and most experimental to date and you can now stream the video for the latest extract, ‘Infernal Heads’, below.

Arriving following recent singles ‘Lyssa’ and ‘Last King of Hell’, the abrasive psychedelic noise-rock of ‘Infernal Heads’ is the third and final taste of the incoming LP. Driven by a thick, distorted groove, blasts of feedback and siren-like synths, the track might feel like a mind-bending descent into some sort of sinister gothic underworld but the band describe it as a “twisted pop song” at heart: “Put simply, we’re all gonna die. We’re all replaceable and no one really gives a f*ck. That’s it really. So get on the ferris wheel and burn.”

Detailing the ‘They Carried The Dead In A U.F.O’ LP, they continue: “We managed to create our most experimental and exciting album to date without being in the same room together. U.F.O. was recorded, mixed and produced by ourselves, meaning we had total control over every noise on the record. This was the exact record we wanted to make: Experimental and playful, moments of light and pure dark. We wanted to f*ck with the listener and pull them in with moments of beauty and chaos. We hope you enjoy the trip!”
