The Black Ryder - Buy The Ticket Take The Ride

The Black Ryder have been religiously praised as one of the leading acts in the shoegaze/dream-pop revival – touring across the world and playing shows with the likes of The Jesus & Mary Chain, The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Primal Scream.

The debut LP from Australian duo The Black Ryder - ‘Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride’ - was originally released in 2009 to wide-spread acclaim and we’re delighted to be giving the LP a deluxe re-issue. There aren't many bands who have managed to truly capture the swirling, kaleidoscopic sounds of the 80s but these guys are undoubtedly one of them. It’s woozy, droning and totally sublime shoegaze with a dark psychedelic slant.

There’s just 800 of these being pressed, 200 of which are deluxe edition double LPs on 180g ultra-clear vinyl with an etched D-side, tip-on sleeve and printed inner sleeve.
